Services

Infant Feeding Support: No matter how you are feeding your bundle of joy, whether you are breastfeeding, chestfeeding, formula feeding, or a combo feeding methods, as you postpartum & newborn care doula, I can help you troubleshoot, answer your questions, and set you up for feeding success. As a postpartum doula, I am trained in infant feeding support, but I will always have references available in case you need more support from a lactation consultant.

Sleep Support: As your doula, I will help you understand what normal newborn sleep schedule looks like and give you tools and tips to thrive and optimize your own sleep.

Newborn Care: As your doula, I can care for your baby so you can rest or take some time to care for yourself or reconnect with your partner or older child.

​

Education & Confidence Building: As your doula, I can answer your questions about your baby, teach you the basics of newborn care, offer reassurance for the many moments of worry during early parenthood, teach you about babywearing, and help you plan for, embark on your first outing with your baby, and be by your side. I’ll even help you figure out how to feed your baby comfortably in public!

Basic Household Tasks: For the times you want to snuggle your baby and rest, I can prepare meals, keep the dishes and laundry moving, do some light tidying, and help you organize supplies to make caring for your baby and your home easier. We can even work on an organization system that works for you and your family to help with taking care of the new bundle of joy.

New Parent Care: As your doula, I will check in with you to see how you’re healing and offer ideas and support for optimizing your recovery. Some ideas or support can include helping so you can rest, drawing a bath for you, sharing ideas for continued healing, and referring you to a doctor for additional support if needed.

Emotional Support for the Whole Family: The postpartum time can usher in a roller coaster of emotions. As your doula, I will listen to you and help you process how you’re feeling each time we’re together. I will gladly debrief your birth experience if you need to. I’ll also help you and your loved ones to communicate effectively and navigate the transition in your relationships as you become parents together. As your doula, I am is trained to recognize potential symptoms of postpartum mood disorders and will connect with you appropriate support if you need it.

As a Doula, I  Do Not:

Perform any clinical tasks, make decisions for you, speak to your doctors or staff on your behalf, project any of my own beliefs onto your experience.

Rates:

​

  • $42/hour, minimum of 8 hours and 4-6 weeks of care. Travel fee is added.
